The Symphonic Winds Presents “Symphonic Christmas Traditions”


The Lake Havasu Symphonic Winds will be performing its popular Christmas concert on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Lake Havasu High School Performing Arts Center.

Admission is $10.00 for adults; children and students are admitted free of charge. Advance tickets (recommended due to expected demand) are available at Sound Bank Electronics, 1931 McCulloch Blvd., or at the box office on the day of the performance.

The December 10th performance is entitled “Symphonic Christmas Traditions” and will include seasonal favorites such as The Carpenter’s beautiful ballad “Merry Christmas Darling”; Jule Styne’s “Let it Snow”; a Dixieland version of “A Holly Jolly Christmas”; a big-band swing arrangement called “In the Christmas Mood”; and a special rendition of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas”, to be narrated by a very special visitor. Many more songs will also be featured.
The Winds, a 32-piece ensemble, has been entertaining enthusiastic audiences in the area since 1998 and is hailed as one of the finest music ensembles in Mohave County and surrounding areas. The musicians and their conductor, Kimberly Lehmann always strive for the highest level of musical excellence as they deliver performances that will touch your heart and your senses.
