Mohave Community College honored its newest Phi Theta Kappa inductees on Friday. Alpha Chi Chi is the Mohave Community College branch of Phi Theta Kappa International.
To be invited to become a member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, the student must complete 12 credit hours with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Being a member of Phi Theta Kappa is a lifetime honor that recognizes a student’s hard work, dedication and perseverance.
In addition to the new members, Sunshine Boylan and Robert Lowndes were made official officers of the group.
Mark Retersdorf gave a compelling presentation on the aspects of life that are important including networking, setting goals, and being aware of the “mountains” that must be climbed.
