Going For The Gold In The Special Olympics

Special Olympics athletes from Lake Havasu City and Kingman participated in the 28th Annual Colorado River Special Olympics game day.  The 55 athletes competed in several track and field events held at the Lake Havasu High School.

Havasu 95 Speedway cars are set up at the Special Olympics Saturday. The athletes will be attending a special ceremony for them at Havasu 95 Speedway on April 13. Jillian Danielson/RiverScene
