Despite a rain-out on Saturday night, Havasu 95 Speedway had a jam packed weekend of racing. The racing, which kicked off on Friday night, saw main events ran by the Havasu Wiring Outlaw Karts, the Office Cocktail Lounge Bandoleros and the Legends.
Friday’s winners were Chase Rothwell #64, Rowdy Ladd #33, Korbin Mitchell #2K, and Trey Brown #28. Saturday’s race was postponed to Sunday, and race fans were treated to beautiful weather and great racing by the Lucas Oil Modifieds presented by MavTV. The modifieds saw their 2017 Champion Taylor Miinch #4, return to victory lane at the same track he wrapped up his championship at last year.
Sunday’s lineup also had the Havasu Wiring Outlaw Karts, the Legends, the Office Cocktail Lounge Bandoleros, and the Sam Nichols Electrical Factory Stocks. The winners were Cameron Perna #33, Korbin Mitchell #2K, Darryn Amidon #33, Trip Rothwell #87 and Jeff Prieur #321.
The Speedway also crowned two more champions this weekend with Brody Wake #87 claiming the championship in the Havasu Wiring Animal Outlaws and Rowdy Ladd #33 in the Havasu Wiring 206 Outlaws.
The Speedway will be back in action Saturday, March 24th at 6:00pm with the Vintage Spring and midgets, the Arizona Modifieds, the Southwest Tour Trucks, the Sam Nichols Electrical Factory Stocks, the Flowers Assisted Living Team Factory and the Pavement Optional Tough Trucks.
