Lake Havasu City restaurant Cha-Bones was transformed into a 1920s-style Speakeasy Thursday evening meant to raise funds to fight cancer.
Cameron Moses, Thom Felke and Scott Stocking raised more than $19,000 through a contest to determine who could raise the most money between the three of them. The loser would have his head shaved at the event by barber Angel Castillo.
Cameron Moses came up on the short end and his head was summarily shaved as a result.
“This is about awareness and compassion,” Moses said.
The funds raised will be donated to the Havasu Cancer Association for Men’s Health Awareness.
