The 2nd annual Hangar 24 Airfest took over the Lake Havasu Municipal Airport all day Saturday. The aircraft show was presented by Hangar 24 Brewery.
Based out of California, the brewery has a satellite brewery and restaurant at the airport.
The event kicked-off with entry to multiple ground-level aircraft displays of both military and non-military aircraft.
Along with the aircraft, there were new boat and car displays as well as multiple retail and food vendors.
The event honored American veterans.
The main event, the air show, has two runs both in early afternoon and early evening. The show featured tricks by the Red Bull helicopter, the Warthog jet, and the Jelly Belly “clown plane.”
“It was really cool seeing the planes. This was my first time and it was cool getting together to watch them fly,” said Tristan Davidson.
“Yeah, it was great to see them fly, it’s a really cool day,” added Dean Barrera.
Some crowd-favorite planes included the F-16, Super Hornet, Warthog and Jelly Belly Plane.
