The Fall Fun Fair is the first glimpse of Havasu’s spooky season: Families and friends gather year after year at the Rotary Park softball fields for a fun-filled night of games, candy and Halloween cheer.
This year, more than 1,000 participants attended the 74-booth event on Saturday, Oct. 13. Each booth is designed and operated by a local company or organization, school club or nonprofit. All tickets collected at each booth are translated into funds that go directly to the organization. The event is managed by Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation.
“[The most frequent costume seen] is the blow-up dinosaurs,” said Sara with Parks and Recreation. “[The most unique] was a baby in a carriage that looked like the space shuttle.”
The night of tricks and treats would not be complete without the unique costumes of the local kids.
