Winter Blast Weekend Lights Up The Sky In Lake Havasu City

The 31^st Annual Western Winter Blast Pyrotechnics event began with a spectacular firework display at Havasu 95 Speedway at SARA Park Friday evening. The Western Pyrotechnics Association brings the event, featuring the latest and greatest in fireworks displays, to Lake Havasu City every President’s Day Weekend.

Every year, the weekend is highlighted with the “really big show” set for tonight.

Gates open at 10 a.m. today and noon Sunday, with the show expected to begin at about 7:30 p.m. (weather permitting).

Admission is $8 per vehicle per day, with an optional additional $8 per person for grandstand seating. Children 6 and under are admitted free when accompanies by a paying adult. Please leave your pets at home.

The event continues Sunday with gates opening again at noon.
