Lake Havasu’s Festival Of Lights Heralds The Holiday Season

And with a flip of a switch, the Lake Havasu City Festival of Lights illuminated the Bridgewater Channel.

The London Bridge Resort light crew began work on lighting the area in September and Friday night’s event was their reward.

Kokomo Beach Club was turned into a holiday wonderland for children of all ages, complete with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus.

There were 103 swimmers racing across the Bridgewater Channel to vie for the honor of flipping the switch to officially kick off the holiday season in Lake Havasu.

Josh Brandenburg was the winner, followed by Bradley Brown and Stephen Cech in second and third places.
