Grab the whole family for some fun at the Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association and Delbert Days event, taking place this weekend at the SARA Park Rodeo Fairgrounds.
Cowboys and cowgirls will show their riding skills, while a kids zone will be set up to entertain the smaller members of the family.
The rodeo is organized this year by Sandi Nagel, alongside the fair committee Friends of the Fair, whose mission is to promote equestrian events and to promote family friendly events like Delbert Days and The Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo.
“We will have the same activities as last year,” said previous kid zone coordinator and Havasu Local Brookes Claas. “We will have bounce houses and inflatables as well as activity booths, kids under the age of 15 are also admitted free this weekend.”
Other kid-friendly activities include a rock climbing wall, a petting zoo a zip line activity and a corn maze and the opportunity for calf riding and mutton bustin which includes registration and a fee to ride.
Local food vendors will also be at this weekend’s rodeo. The event runs Saturday through Sunday.
To purchase tickets online, visit http://havasurodeo.com/will also be available for purchase at the gate. The rodeo takes place at SARA Park Rodeo Fairgrounds, 7206 Dub Campbell Parkway, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Gates open at 9 a.m. Admission price is $15 for adults; kids 15 and under are free.
