More than 150 vendors will gather at the annual Lake Havasu Marine Association Boat Show sponsored by Anderson Powersports, this Friday through Sunday at  Lake Havasu State Park, Windsor 4.

“This is unbelievably the 32nd year of the Lake Havasu Marine Association Boat Show and the first year Anderson Powersports as the title sponsor of it,” said Jim Russell, President of DSM Events LLC. “We also added some new items this year.”

The annual boat show was originally a signature event hosted by the Lake Havasu Marine Association for many years, and this year DSM Events, will be providing the power to organize and ensure the success of the event.

DSM Events is the largest event production company in the region and has been in operation for more than 30 years, producing hundreds of events.

“We are just fortunate to have taken over the production of the show for them. The Marine Association is actively involved, however, DSM Events is overall in charge of the show,” Russell said.

According to Russell, spectators can expect some manufacturers that will offer water rides, there will also be lots of food.

“Our vendors will have on display everything from the newest items and all forms of power sports equipment to accessories and more,” he said. “We’ve introduced a food court this year for the first time, down by the grass and the lake.”

Some of those food vendors include Bandit BBQ, King Concessions, Minnesota Mitch, PZA Pizzeria, Sweet Breeze Crepes, Scoops Ice Cream, Stevie B’s Mister Lemonade and many others.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Tyler Halsey.

Entrance to the boat show is $10 per person. Children with a paying adult are free. But there is an opportunity to get a $3 discount card, for a $7 entry fee.

“They can stop by any of the Anderson Powersports stores in the river area, and pick up a discount card, and save $3 at the gate. Parking is free until it fills up,” Russell said.

“The show is a complete sell out for vendors, which is very gratifying and not terribly surprising because it’s the largest outdoor boat show in the western part of the country and some years it’s actually gotten bigger than the LA Boat Show,” he added.

Gates open Friday, April 14 from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, April 15 gates open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Boat Show is at 171 London Bridge Road. Windsor 4.
