Lake Havasu City hosted its annual Community Dinner Friday night at the Aquatic Center.

Mayor Cal Sheehy, City Council members, Lake Havasu Police Department staff, C.E.R.T. Team members, and Lake Havasu City employees all gathered to serve a turkey dinner to residents and visitors.

“The Community Dinner combines fellowship, community, volunteerism and good food for a truly amazing community event put on by the community for the community,” Mayor Sheehy said.

“Thank you to all the volunteers for their hard work for the communty that attended. We served nearly 1,000 guests.”

Santa and his elves were on hand to give away presents to children and W.A.V.E. students offered their services as volunteers.
