Annual Havasu Desert Bash And Poker Run This Weekend

The Lake Havasu Desert Bash and Off Road Poker Run, presented by the Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce, kicks off this Saturday, at 10 a.m. Located at Standard Wash near mile-marker 173 (off of Arizona Highway 95, about three miles south of SARA Park). The Desert Bash features an off-road poker run, prizes and drawings, off-road vendors, food trucks and live performances by Mile High and DJ Nutt.

This year, the Desert Bash is debuting a brand new 64-mile course with five checkpoints for more than 1,000 participants to build the best poker hand possible and win cash prizes. There are more than 240 vehicles participating in the annual poker run. Drivers checked in and attended a safety meeting Friday afternoon.
