Back-To-School Health Fair Readies Children For Coming Year

You know the first day of school is just around the corner when the Havasu Community Health Foundation hosted its 17th annual Back-to-School Health Fair at the Aquatic Center.

Community organizations and businesses gathered at the Aquatic Center to provide free games, food, immunizations, hair cuts and bicycle helmets.

Lake Havasu Rotary Club provided the bicycle helmets. Sunrise Rotary Club provided free breatkfast with waffles and fruit. The local Kiwanis Club gave away backpacks.

The Lake Havasu Sea Scouts, Pet Partners and Kids on the Colorado were on hand to help get area kids get ready to go back to school.

After the Health Fair, kids were treated to a free swim in the Aquatic Center pool.
