The Brews and Brats Festival Saturday afternoon in Lake Havasu City hosted approximately 14 beer vendors at the outdoor event. More than 500 people attended.
Live entertainment featuring the band Throwing Fitz entertained the crowd. Sunrise Rotary Club cooked 600 brats. The winner of the 50/50 took home $435.
“The four charities that benefited from Brews and Brats are Denise’s Day, H.A.V.E.N., Havasu Community Health Foundation for their building and SAP program, and Kids on the Colorado River. One-hundred percent of the net proceeds goes to local Havasu charities, ” said Michelle Pounders, Sunrise Rotary Treasurer.
“The new EventBrite website for the 2024 event will be up soon and Sunrise Rotary expects it to be bigger and better next year to help local charities,” she said.
Title sponsor Anderson Toyota joined Printing Plus, LeGrande Plumbing and Canyon State Crane Service to support the Lake Havasu City community nonprofits at the Brews and Brats Festival.
