The 29th annual Buses By The Bridge event kicks off Thursday and participants were lined up to find prime spots for the event at Lake Havasu State Park, Windsor Beach.

The first bus arrived Jan. 10, at 8 p.m., driven by David Van Assche, of Santa Clarita, Calif.

Gates open at 9 a.m. both Thursday and Friday. Saturday, activities begin at 8:30 with a bike ride to the Tinnell Memorial Sports park.

Buses By The Bridge wraps up Sunday at noon.

Raffles, live entertainment and more are features of the event.

All weekend access for those over the age of 17 is $5. There is no charge for those under 17.
