Denene LaPoint, of Calvary Christian Academy, was awarded with the Educational Rockstar Award Wednesday at Calvary Christian Academy.

Tina Hayes, of Smallcakes, and Stephanie Martin, of College Street Brewery, gave LaPoint the award and a basket containing $500 in prizes.
