Come join the Lake Havasu Hospitality Association and Lake Havasu City Outrigger Canoe Club for the 11th Annual Octoberfest Pineapple Race. This is an exciting Outrigger Canoe Race with local businesses competing.

Each team consists of five members from a business. Prior to the race these participants undergo safety training plus instructional “how to outrigger paddle” from the Lake Havasu City Outrigger Canoe Club (LHCOCC). A steers person from LHCOCC is assigned to a racing canoe and 21 teams will compete based on the teams experience level. The race starts at the southern mouth of the Bridgewater Channel and proceeds north with the finish line in front of the Lion’s Club Dog Park – 1/4 mile race!!

This years event will include an expanded beer garden and more food! As well as, activities for kids. It is a great spectator event, watch the races, enjoy food and drink, cheer on your favorite team! Teams will be dressing in their best SuperHero attire. First race starts at 5pm, with awards at 7:45pm. Beer Garden open from 4-8pm.
