On November 8,  from 6:00-8:30pm  at Telesis Preparatory Academy, is the Made 2B Awesome Wheelchair games!

 

Lake​ ​Havasu​ ​City​ ​Mayor,​ ​Mark​ ​Nexsen​ ​will​ ​honor​ ​the​ ​evening​ ​with a​ ​Proclamation,​ ​“Wheelchair​ ​Basketball​ ​Team​ ​Competition​ ​Day.”

The​ ​players​ ​from​ ​the​ ​Las​ ​Vegas​ ​wheelchair​ ​basketball​ ​team​ ​are: Nate​ ​Carruth,​ ​Reggie​ ​Bennett,​ ​and​ ​Jonathan​ ​Foster.​ ​​ ​The​ ​players from​ ​the​ ​Phoenix​ ​Suns​ ​wheelchair​ ​basketball​ ​team​ ​are:​ ​Robby Reed,​ ​Paul​ ​Rodriguez,​ ​Stephen​ ​Binning,​ ​and​ ​Nick​ ​Pryor,​ ​which will​ ​team-up​ ​together​ ​to​ ​complete​ ​against​ ​the​ ​following​ ​Lake Havasu​ ​City​ ​members: Mark​ ​Nexsen,​ ​Lake​ ​Havasu​ ​City​ ​Mayor;​ ​Dan​ ​Doyle,​ ​Lake​ ​Havasu​ ​City Chief​ ​of​ ​Police;​ ​Brian​ ​Davis,​ ​Lake​ ​Havasu​ ​City​ ​Fire​ ​Chief;​ ​Cal Sheehy,​ ​London​ ​Bridge​ ​Resort​ ​Vice​ ​President;​ ​Dr.​ ​Jeffrey​ ​Carls and​ ​Dr.​ ​Christian​ ​Grandell,​ ​Lake​ ​Havasu​ ​Cosmetics;​ ​Amy​ ​Ulmer, Telesis​ ​Preparatory​ ​Academy​ ​Teacher​ ​and​ ​basketball​ ​coach,​ ​Jake Bekkedahl,​ ​Lake​ ​Havasu​ ​Police​ ​Department​ ​Detective​ ​Sergeant;​ ​and Derek​ ​Wilson,​ ​Lake​ ​Havasu​ ​Police​ ​Department​ ​Detective,​ ​just​ ​to name​ ​a​ ​few.

Jay​ ​Bidwell,​ ​local​ ​attorney​ ​for​ ​Wachtel,​ ​Biehn​ ​&​ ​Malm​ ​and​ ​Jerad Pennington,​ ​owner​ ​of​ ​Pennington’s​ ​Pub​ ​will​ ​be​ ​the​ ​announcers​ ​for the​ ​evening.

Tickets are $3 for adults and $1 per child.
