On Saturday, June 26, 10:30- 2 p.m., is Mini Geologist Day at the Lake Havasu Museum of History.
Lake Havasu Museum of History and Lake Havasu Gem & Mineral Society present a day of geological activities for all ages.
Special presentation at 11AM by former LHGMS President, Barry Bandaruk, “Rock 101 & Lemon Volcano Demo” will explain the basics of mineral identification and the processes that create rocks.
Plus, all day activities including: Learn the art of wire wrapping and turn a crystal into a unique piece of jewelry. Pick a geode to be hand-cracked and reveal the beautiful formations inside. Bring in a rock to be identified and traded.
