Now that the weather is cooler, the Cherokee Troubadour will be performing the warmer part of the day on Tuesday afternoons.
December 4th, 2:00pm-4:00 pm “The Cherokee Troubadour” will be performing a free, two hour concert, on stage, under the east of the London Bridge at “The English Village.” This show will consist of the fantastic mixture of the songs of Christmas, the 50’s, and Country!
The will be accepting food & money donations for the new Lake Havasu Food Bank.
During our past three shows, under the bridge, we have collected some food donations and dollar donations in the amount of $274.75 for the Food Bank and $176.15 for their local “Meals On Wheels” Program, making a total of $450.90!
The money donations for the Food Bank is every dollar, donated, translates to double that amount, due to the Food Banks ability to purchase food at wholesale cost.
The performance team accepts absolutely payment for these charitable shows. 100% of the collected funds will be delivered to the “helping hand” organization we accept the funds for.
A mighty thank you from the Cherokee Troubadour who helped the cause.
These musical performances, as well as all their other shows, are The Cherokee Troubadour’s way of “Giving Back” or “Paying it Forward”, as it is now called. In addition to these shows, we perform completely free shows at Alzheimer’s Care Centers (“Lake View Terrace”, monthly), Senior Centers, Assisted Living centers, and the like, when asked.
Shows at private, selective parties, R. V. Parks, and other such venues can be arranged on a similar donation bases.
Please, join them for an afternoon of song, music, and dancing. Their music flows from the great oldies (50’s) and Country music of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s, and beyond!
Bring a lawn chair and simply “Kick Back” and enjoy or dance the afternoon away!
