Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 7:30 a.m. is the  3 Disciples Triathlon and Duathlon. It will be held at Lake Havasu State Park.

AGE GROUP EVENTS:

Olympic Triathlon – 1500m swim, 22.5mi. bike, 10k run
Sprint Triathlon – 500m swim, 20k bike, 5k run
Sprint Duathlon – 2.5k run, 20k bike, 5k run
Olympic Aquabike – 1500m swim, 22.5mi. bike
Sprint Aquabike – 500m swim, 20k bike
Super Sprint – 200m swim, 10k bike, 1 mile, run
KAYATRI – 2 mile (SUP, Kayak, Canoe) 20k bike, 5k run

**2 and 3 person relays offered for both the Olympic and Sprint Distance Triathlon

Drivers, be aware of the bike and running courses while traveling this day:

Bike course: 

The bike course will keep you along the lake on the rolling London Bridge road.  Super Sprint and Sprint athletes will turnaround at your turnaround points, 5k and 10k indicated by large 4′ tall A – frame sign and cones in the road. Olympic distance athletes will continue to a turnaround point just before the highway by the mall. From that point back to a right turn taking you back in the residential Crystal Beach section. This is TWO LOOPS back here!! Failure to complete Two Loops will result in a disqualification. This is a very challenging section, great heart pounding, out of your saddle climbs and fast exhilarating descents. Then exiting Crystal Beach, back on London Bridge road to the transition area.

Run Course:

The run course will take you out next to the bike out, heading left on London Bridge road following the sidewalk up and under the bridge, past the hotels, out to the city park where you will jump on a city park trail down to the lake. An awesome section through the desert here before jumping on the Channel boardwalk. This will take you past all the restaurants, and shopping under the historic London bridge to the end of the boardwalk. From this point you will have a 200m section on the beach before jumping back on the state park path into the finish line. A 5k loop, Olympic distance athletes will make a Right just before the grass af the end of the beach and head back out for Lap 2.
