The 54th Anniversary of the London Bridge Beard and Mustache Competition took place Saturday afternoon under the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City.
Forty contestants participated in the event that had catagories including partial beard, full beard, freestyle and wiskerina.
A section of the Havasu Memorial Walkway will be dedicated to the original event organizers Lee Shoblom and Jim Rosensweet.
Mayor Cal Sheehy was on hand to read a proclamation and competition judge Antonio Restivo demonstrated fire breathing.
