The final games of the fall soccer season for the Lake Havasu Soccer League will be played today and Saturday. The season began in early October with 48 teams, according to Chris Daigle, League President.
Daigle said 471 players ranging in age from 4 to 15 make up the teams this season.
“We played 202 games including the playoffs. Games were on Fridays and Saturdays,” Daigle said. All games were played at ASU this year.
Daigle said that all registered players were able to play throughout the season without limiting any because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I felt the season went great. Kids were able to have some normalcy in 2020 and that is what it’s all about! This was a group effort that included great sponsors, a dedicated staff, and a community full of volunteers,” Daigle said.
Games will be played at ASU today at 5:30 p.m. and begin Saturday at 9 a.m., also at ASU.
