The 2026 Havasu Art Trail is underway and continues through Sunday. The Art Trail affords the opportunity to visit local artists in their studios and learn more about their work.
Brenda Gibbs, one of the founding members of the Havasu Art Trail said the nonprofit was created to support the art and artists of Lake Havasu City.
“It lets us introduce the artists to the public and the public to the artists so that we can all form a better union,” Gibbs said.
She said the concept of a studio tour is not unique to Lake Havasu City.

“Prescott has a very good studio tour and Cave Creek has one that goes on three weekends a year. It is a universal means for the public and the artists getting together.”
Gibbs said they not only wanted to create the two-day event, but to also ensure the public and the artists could stay in contact.
A nonprofit supports the artists with a website so that each artist gets their own web page and the public can find that artist the rest of the year. Social media promotion is also provided.
This year, 68 artists are featured at 20 different locations.
Maureen Osborne is one of the artists featured. She is located at 405 Jones.

“I’m a photographer. I also paint acrylic on canvas and watercolor. Acrylic is my main focus, however when I’m out, I can’t stop taking pictures because there’s so many beautiful things to see especially around Lake Havasu. The bridge, the mountains.
“Everywhere you turn, there’s something. I’ll take some of my photographs and turn them into my paintings,” she said.
Maps are on website at HavasuArtTrail.com and preprinted available at each location and at the Havasu Art Center at 2093 McCulloch Blvd.
