The Clothes Closet hosted its Back to School event Saturday morning.
More than 15 volunteers at the event gave shoes, backpacks, school shirts, and school supplies to local children. All items were donated from local businesses and other organizations.
Local vendors were on hand to offer free haircuts, breakfast and lunch, balloon animals, snacks, and child healthcare information for families.
According to Clothes Closet owner Christine Watson, more than 200 children and parents passed through the doors for services and school supplies Saturday.

My ride wasn’t available for me to get to this program that you guys were putting on for the children so my two children the twins did not get a chance to grab any shirts for school or anything like that or the supplies if there’s anything left can you please email me so that Winston and William Escobar can have their things for the Middle School at Thunderbolt thank you I will be waiting for an email
