Fireworks and plenty of family friendly activities entertained residents and visitors at the First Annual Fire at the Water 4th of July Festival at Rotary Community Park Ball Fields, hosted by Go Lake Havasu and sponsored by Anderson Powersports along with DSM Events, Friday afternoon.
The inaugural event, featured live music, cooling stations, a presentation of colors by the Marine Corp League and plenty of vendors, food trucks and a kidzone with games for those with young children.
“I love that there is something for the whole family to do here. My kids really enjoyed the activties here,” said Karie Morales, spectator and parent.
For the adults, a beer garden, boat show and food was also on hand before the big fireworks finale lit the sky in the evening at Piccadilly Point.
“We were excited to be part of this event and that families had a place to go to get food, listen to bands and watch the fireworks,” said Anderson Auto and Powersports Marketing Director, Andrea Foote.
The event was hosted by Go Lake Havasu, which is dedicated to fostering community engagement and enhancing economic growth , tourism and promoting the city as a premier destination.
