Havasu Local Lindsay German Wins Miss Havasu At Rockabilly Reunion

Lindsay “Little Lindsay” German was all smiles at the Rockabilly Reunion Sunday afternoon after winning the Pinup Pageant title “Miss Havasu.”

Eight ladies competed in the Pinup Pageant including Heather Riot, Chrissie Cadillac, Stevie T, Mel Rose, Miss V, Miss Tay, Miss Pietz and Little Lindsay. Dixie Rebelle hosted the contest.

“Saying it’s an honor to be crowned Miss Havasu is an understatement. Of all the awards given at Rockabilly Reunion, getting to be the woman that represents this amazing city was the best award I could ask for. There is so much to love about Havasu from the 300 plus days of sunshine to the amazing events and music the city hosts but most of all the people.

“I definitely got to see that more than ever this weekend when so many of our local Havasu residents came out to support and cheer me on as it was my first time competing in the Lake Havasu Rockabilly Reunion pinup contest. Being a full-time resident for over 4 years now, I’m so glad to call this city my home,” said Lindsay “Little Lindsay” German.

The other winners from Rockabilly Reunion included Ms. Silverbilly Maria Rhodes, Miss Rockabilly Miss Mel Rose, Miss Psychobilly Miss Pietz, Miss Alecia award Miss Tay, Little Miss Rockabilly Cherry Apple, Little Miss Psychobilly A.J. and Little Greaser Xander.

All four Pinup Pageant winners won a Gretsch Guitar as well as a cash prize.

A car show, vendors featuring pinup dresses and rockabilly clothing, and 24 bands were all part of the event. New this year to the Rockabilly Reunion was a video wall that hung on both sides of the stage.
