Thursday, a special off-road ride from Anderson Toyota to The Bunker Bar took place as veterans of the Lake Havasu City area gathered in their side by sides. This marks the Havasu SXS Trail Association’s sixth annual Rick Seales trip to the Bunker Bar, where the vets were treated to lunch and a cocktail with live music.

Veteran Jeff Daniels, of the trail association, hosted this event, with help from new special event chairperson Katie Ridinger. According to the association’s vice president, Georgeann Hoover, about 270 vets were expected to participate. Popular country music artist Matt Farris donated his time to perform for the event.

“We’re going to be doing a 50/50 out there because we have 58 homeless vets out in the middle of the desert,” Hoover said before the trip, referring to the raffle custom. “We’re going to try to raise some money for them since they can’t get here to have lunch.”

Here are some photos of the event.
