The Western Pyrotechnics Association wrapped up its 36th Annual Western WinterBlast Extravaganza over the weekend.

Saturday evening, Hauter Fireworks took over the Grand Public Display with more than 12,000 firework ques in their “Back to the Future” theme. This also included more than 600 drones as part of the show.

Sunday evening, PIT crew – Pyros in Training – put on a spectacular show as well.

There were 747 WPA members in Lake Havasu to build and fire off fireworks on site at Havasu 95 Speedway. The WPA also hosted a special guest, Disney YouTuber Chris Provost of Provost Park Pass.

Provost learned the process of building a firework shell, spoke to a few Disney pyrotechnicians, and experienced Saturday evening’s Grand Public Display to include his YouTube Channel.

Here are photos from the weekend.

Best show ever, I will never be able to watch regular fireworks again after that fabulous show, everyone needs to see that show once, I will go annually, thanks to everyone who was involved.
