Board members Darrell and Linda Kolstad, of the Lake Havasu Boat Patrol (LHBP), stopped by to meet with Kids on the Colorado River (KOCR) president Mike Peters and fellow KOCR board members Jennings Burdick and Brittney Reynolds to deliver a much appreciated $1,000 donation to the kid’s educational program.

This local nonprofit Boat Patrol along with Britton’s Auto, Truck and RV Center hosted this year’s 54^th Anniversary of the London Bridge Beard and Mustache Competition under the London Bridge this past October and raised a respectable donation through 100 percent of the competition’s contestant fees.

KOCR supports more than 900 local seventh- and eighth-grade students annually by providing interactive education about the Colorado River and the Mohave Desert.
