A decisive victory for the Lady Knights flag football team saw a 28-0 shutout against the Fairfax Stampede Sept. 17.
Fourteen of the Knights’ points were scored in the first quarter with two more touchdowns in the second and fourth quarters. Jurzie Krown and McKenna Nutt scored rushing touchdowns while Nutt threw for two passing TDs.
“Great team effort on both sides of the ball. Defense played great forcing three turnovers,” assistant coach Matt Sepulveda said.
The Lady Knights JV squad was also victorious with a score of 31-6.
“The JV team played great, led by Skye Light,” Sepulveda said.
The next varsity home game is Tuesday against the Roughriders of Youngker.
