Chad Hansen, owner of Mohave Mortgage, completed his first successful racing season driving the No. 33 Street Stock car at Havasu 95 Speedway.

The company will donate its overall winnings and has reached out to some of their key sponsors to match funds toward the Lake Havasu City Police K-9 Unit.

A total of $3,150 was presented to LHPD Chief Dan Doyle, Officer Skanke and K-9 companion Rocky at the June 14 City Council meeting.

Chad Hansen will be led the pledge of allegiance at 6 p.m., and immediately following, he presented the donation. The funds will go toward additional ongoing K-9 training, equipment and supplies here locally in Lake Havasu City.
