Lake Havasu City 8th graders participated in a fun field trip this week at Contact Point.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, 460 eighth graders were part of “Kids on the Colorado” hosted by volunteers from the program.

The students visited eight stations to learn about Lake Havasu, including presentations from ASU, U.S Fish and Wildlife Service, Lake Havasu Fire Department, and Lake Havasu City Police Department. It also included Geo Casching and a guided tour around Contact point.
