The Lake Havasu City Police Department, the Citizens Police Academy Auxiliary and Soroptimist International of Lake Havasu City club members surprised six local families Monday afternoon.

The LHCPD, Santa and Mrs. Clause,  and Soroptimist members caravanned around town and with gifts to lift Christmas spirits. Police cars were adorned with reindeer antlers and red noses.

The LHCPD also recently shopped at Walmart during “Shop With a Cop”  for gifts for the families. 16 families will be surprised throughout the week.
