LHUSD Teachers Rally To Prepare For First Day of School

Lake Havasu Unified School District teachers were greeted at a rally in their honor today at the local high school. The teachers were greeted by the Lake Havasu High School marching band, spirit line and color guard as they entered the Performing Arts Center.

Jaime Festa-Daigle emceed the event and the K-12 Foundation presented $14,700 in checks to LHUSD principalsto use as needed.

Jenni Bliss, Andrea Foote of Anderson Auto Group, Starline Principal Ginny Sautner and LHUSD Superintendent Dr. Becky Stone spoke to the teachers to thank them for all they do for the kids throughout the year. Some of the guest speakers are also LHHS Alumni.

Starline and Jamaica elementary students sang to the teachers and staff as well.
