Saturday morning, members of the London Bridge Lions Club and their families, wore high-visibility vests and worked both sides of the highway from Smoketree north to West Acoma cleaning up the debris. The group is the sponsor of Adopt A Highway Cleanup, where they sponsor that section of Highway 95 to keep it looking nice. Cleanup started at 7:30 AM and was wrapped up approximately three hours later. Items picked up ranged from soda cans and receipts to car parts.
