Wind gusts of up to 49 mph were recorded at the Lake Havasu City Airport Saturday evening. Scant moisture was reported during the storm that consisted mostly of high winds. A wind gust of 56 mph was reported at the London Bridge.

A little after 7:30 p.m., the storm roared into the city and caused damage throughout the area. City crews were busy Sunday morning cleaning up downed trees, dislodged palm fronds and bark and more. Businesses reported downed signs like the one pictured at the Sands on Mesquite Avenue.

Power outages were reported in some parts of Lake Havasu City and more storm activity is possible for today.
