Participants in the Leadership Lake Havasu class of 2023 celebrated their graduation of the program with a dinner and a ceremony at Shugrue‘s Bridge Room Thursday night.
Guest speaker Lake Havasu City Mayor Cal Sheehy addressed the grads and community, along with the Chamber Foundation For Education and Leadership (CFEL) Board of Directors Chair Maria Hart.
“I had the privilege of attending the last session for the Leadership Lake Havasu Class of 2023 and It is so awesome to hear from each classmate how little someone knew about the town and didn‘t realize that it until going through the program,” Hart said. “How they realized they could make close bonds with total strangers; and how each and every one of them has experienced personal or professional growth by participating in this program. That is music to our ears.”
Leadership Lake Havasu is a nine-month comprehensive leadership development program designed to identify resources and educate individuals to assume leadership roles in the community. The program is facilitated by the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce.
