The Professional Disc Golf Association’s 9th Annual Lake Havasu City Open sponsored by Color Your Game just took place at Sara Park this past weekend. Temperatures were well into the 70s, beautiful weather for outdoor sports.
A total of 132 people braved the tournament with Mixed and Women’s age bracketed divisions. Tournament Director Mercedes Kaiser shared some key points about the event with RiverScene.
The Mixed Pro Open Division was tight between the top five competitors in Round One, but Round Two saw Flagstaff’s Connor Rock take first place with a total score of -34 down.
Dallas Garber, of Gresham, Ore., took second with a score of -22 down after graduating high school on Thursday prior to the tournament. Graham Russell, of Lake Havasu City, the tournament’s Assistant Director, took third place with a score of -21 down.
