‘Shrek Jr.’ Opens Today At GraceArts Live

A famed green ogre will make an appearance in Lake Havasu City for the next few weekends. Based on the children’s film, “Shrek the Musical Jr.,” is hitting the GraceArts Live stage tonight.

Shrek is a green ogre who wants nothing more than to live peacefully alone in his swamp. Suddenly, he is bombarded by kooky fairy tale creatures, a small but mighty lord, and a daring damsel in distress.

Playing the role of Shrek is Tyler Fallis, with Allyson Chapin as Princess Fiona. Maura Cunning is Donkey, and Jordan Erickson is Lord Farquad.

The show runs Sept. 8-10, 15-17, 22-24. The curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. GraceArts is located at 2146 McCulloch Blvd., N. For ticket information, call 928-505-2787.
