Soroptimist International of Lake Havasu City hosted its 3^rd annual golf tournament to benefit women and girls in the community March 29.

Swing for Soroptimists teed off at the Lake Havasu Golf Club with 136 participants.

Organizers said the tournament raised $8,500 and thanked all those that volunteered and sponsored the event.

Those volunteers and sponsors mentioned included the staff at Lake Havasu Golf Club, Soroptimist members and others who made the event a success.

Soroptimists International of Lake Havasu City’s mission is to provide women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment, especially those facing significant obstacles.
