Another Wednesday, another perfect day for football as the Thunderbolt Middle School Thundercats took down the Fox Creek Falcons with an impressive 40-0 win.
While it seemed like Fox Creek was going to have the size advantage, the team couldn’t keep up with the speed and athleticism of the Thundercats as it almost seemed like the team scored every time they had the ball. Not to mention, the defense also held its own against the Falcons.
Throughout the game, the Thundercats fought valiantly to push toward victory, showing the crowd what they’re capable of this season.
As the score continued to increase in favor of the Thundercats, it was clear for just about everyone in attendance who was taking the cake.
Thundercat Coach Eric Cooper said, “We played hard, we played really hard and we played like one big family. We preach family at every practice and the boys did just that. They stuck with each other during the highs and lows, luckily there were a lot of highs today and hopefully we can keep it up to have a great season.”
As long as the Thundercats keep it up, they’ll be the team to beat this season.
