The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has forecast thunderstorms and possible flash flooding for the Lake Havasu City area and throughout Mohave County beginning Tuesday afternoon.
The forecast calls for widespread low-elevation moderate to heavy rainfall, that could lead to flash flooding Tuesday with rain continuing through Thursday. Temperatures should be in the mid-70s, according to a briefing sent out Monday morning by the weather service.
The heaviest rainfall is expected late Tuesday into Wednesday.
For those who leave the house early, remember to take jackets and umbrellas. Also, school students should plan to be returning home during some inclement weather, so they should be prepared.
