There is a tranquil place in Lake Havasu City where the focus is on a peaceful, healthy dining experience.
“Siddhartha’s Garden was created to provide Lake Havasu City with a unique dining experience centered on health, sustainability and mindfulness. As a restaurant, coffee and juice bar, we focus on serving healthy, non-process food in a welcoming environment that nourishes both body and spirit,” said one of the buisness’s partners Chris Bennett.
“Our mission is deeply rooted in enhancing the spiritual essence of the community and promoting mindful living, eating and overall whole body wellness,” partner Corey Janecek said.
Bennett said that not only do they offer exceptional cuisine, but also they have created a space where the community can connect and thrive.
“Siddhartha’s Garden reflects a commitment to sustainability, wellness and fostering meaningful relationships in Lake Havasu,” Bennett said.

The restaurant’s website tells its story like this:
“At Siddhartha’s Garden, our journey started with a profound belief in the power of a mostly plant-based cuisine to nourish not only the body but also the soul. We are dedicated to providing a health-focused service that goes beyond mere sustenance, offering a pathway to a better life through healing foods. Our dishes are carefully crafted to showcase the benefits of plants, ensuring that every bite is a step towards holistic well-being.
In our oasis of culinary delight, we strive to be the ultimate dining destination in Arizona, where exceptional cuisine meets unparalleled service. We aim to establish a reputation synonymous
with gastronomic excellence while serving as a sanctuary for those seeking mindfulness in their dining experience.”
In addition to operating the restaurant, the partners are always looking for new ways to bring people together and promote health and wellness.

Part of that includes hosting wellness workshops, seasonal cooking classes and more collaborative events with local organizations.
One of those collaborations included partnering with New Horizons to revitalize its community garden.
“New Horizons is working with Siddhartha’s Garden to rejuvenate the community garden,” New Horizons CEO Brooke Russell said.
New Horizons was founded in 1973 by Havasu Pioneer Les Galst to provide person-centered support for those with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
“Partnering with New Horizons came from our shared dedication to supporting the local community. New Horizons does incredible work providing opportunities and services for developmentally disabled adults in Lake Havasu.
“When we learned about their desire to restore the community garden, we saw a natural alignment with Siddhartha’s Garden’s mission to promote sustainability and health,” Chris Bennett said.

“We’re honored to collaborate with New Horizons on this project, and we’re excited to lead and manage the garden restoration. It’s an opportunity to create a space where the community can come together to grow fresh, organic produce and learn about sustainable practices.”
The partnership culminated on Dec. 12, with a fundraiser not only to benefit the garden, but also to support the New Horizon’s mission as well.
There will be more about the fundraiser in a separate story.
“Siddhartha’s Garden stands as a beacon of innovation, pioneering wellness and mindful cuisine, inviting the community to explore fresh and exciting new concepts,” Janecek said.
Siddhartha’s Garden is located at 2127 Swanson Ave. Visit its website at siddarthasgarden.com. The restaurant is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
