10th Annual O’ Christmas Tree Festival Hosted By Women With Willpower

The Christmas Season is in full swing, and kicking off December 2019, in a filled-to-capacity London Bridge Resort Convention Center with more than 300 attendees, The Women with Willpower’s O’ Christmas Tree Festival drew Lake Havasu City business owners, philanthropists and charitable residents who showed both their festive nature and big-hearted spirits. With the buzz of a busy hive, patrons weaved through the room socializing and making merry in between the scheduled events throughout the afternoon Dec. 1.

This is the 10th year for this charity event, which offers exquisite packages for raffle while participants enjoy food and drink. Hosted by Women with Willpower, each year the charity raffle raises funds to assist the women of Lake Havasu City who may find themselves falling through the cracks when burdened with financial need. This year alone, the organization raised $170,000 in aid for its cause.

That number is not difficult to believe as enthusiastic attendees reacted to each winner announcement. The energy was palpable as the crowd listened to the spirited auctioneer, and the call of raffle ticket numbers. The event featured the auction of 15 trees stocked full of goodies, 25 additional gift baskets, and a grand prize estimated to be worth $1,000.

What Do They Do – Touching Lives

Working in partnership with local community nonprofit organizations, Women with Willpower assists in identifying and providing financial assistance to women when all other resources have been exhausted. Once need is identified by such organizations, Women with Willpower is the next step for many as they are referred for consideration. These women are charged nothing for the help they receive, and the organization asks only that they pay it forward somehow in their lives.

Are You Or Someone You Know In Need?

Women with Willpower provides the guidelines for assistance:

•Recipients must be women.
•Residency – Recipients must demonstrate that they reside within the city limits of Lake Havasu City (86403, 86404, 86406) for a minimum of 90 days.
•Must be referred by a nonprofit organization.
•Funds will be distributed through the non-profit.
