Members of Lake Havasu City Soroptimist International organization gathered on May 13, to honor local women in the pursuit of their goals with distributing grants funding at its annual Dream Benefit.

The Lake Havasu City Soroptimist members spent the past year raising funds through charitable events like Southwest Chowderfest, Swing Into Golf, and its poker tournament.

These events are hosted throughout Havasu to raise funds so that the nonprofit can offer new opportunities for women in the local community.
