Although it seems a long way off, the spooky season will be here in no time.
And it’s time to think about putting together the best witchy costume and get ready for the annual Witch Paddle 2025.
Witch Paddle is an annual community event where witches and warlocks paddle through the Bridgewater Channel in Lake Havasu City for fun and camaraderie.
Witch Paddle, according to its website, began as a passion project and turned into the event it has become with more than 1,000 participating, coming from across the country.
This year’s Witch Paddle is Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., beginning at London Bridge Beach.
Registration begins at 10 a.m., and each paddleboard in the water prior to the start time must be registered. Registration is $30-$35 with perks including event shirts, and $10 without.
Registration is available on the website at www.witchpaddlelhc.com. There is a “virtual” raffle that is included in the registration. The raffle will include prizes donated by local businesses.
Witchy paddleboarders can participate in a costume contest and a variety of vendors will be available.
More details will follow, but in the meantime, broomsticks should be at the ready.
Here are some photos from past events.
