RiverScene Magazine recently traveled to one of the most spiritual and beautiful spots in Arizona.
Sedona is about a three and a half hour drive from Lake Havasu City via State Route 95 north to Interstate 40 East to State Route 17 South to 89A.
Sedona offers visitors a variety of activities in addition to just admiring the beautiful surroundings.
The Sedona Visitors Center website lists 100 things to do that feature everything from hiking and biking to dining and tours. Bell Rock is a popular hiking spot in the area.
The Oak Creek Canyon West Fork trail was visited by the RiverScene team and requires a $15 fee per vehicle with up to five people.
RiverScene Magazine also checked out the gondola rides at Arizona Snowbowl. In addition to gondola rides, the attraction also features a restaurant, bar, giant Jenga game and activities for kids as well.
For more information about both summer and winter fun in Sedona, check out visitsedona.com.
