A popular holiday figure is coming to Grace Arts Live — the Grinch, an iconic Dr. Seuss character that has appeared in animation, live action film and now on the local stage.

“How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is the Musical is about the green and grumpy Grinch and his plot to steal Christmas away from the unsuspecting Whos of Whoville. He ultimately has a change of heart when he learns the true spirit of Christmas is love and kindness.

The classic tale is just about sold out for its three weekend run, but there is a waiting list for those who are interested.

Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m., beginning Dec. 5, with the final performance on Dec. 21. Tickets are $30+tax+fee for adults and $17+tax+fee for children 17 and younger and may be available by visiting the theatre at 2146 McCulloch Blvd. up to an hour before showtimes and getting your name on the wait list.
